Liz Bogus

Elizabeth Ely "Liz" Bogus (born February 24, 1984) is an American soccer forward and outside midfielder. She is currently signed with FC Kansas City in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She previously played for the Seattle Reign FC in the NWSL as well as the Los Angeles Sol and the Boston Breakers in the WPS.
==Early life==
Born in Provo, Utah, Bogus attended Brighton High School in Sandy, Utah, a 5A school, where she was named offensive MVP all three years scoring 79 career goals and providing 27 assists. Bogus played for the Utah Firebirds from 1998–2001. She was the leading scorer in 2001 when the team captured the state championship. Bogus played for Utah Futbol Club from 1997–1998 and Sparta Soccer Club from 1995–1997. She played on the Region IV Olympic Development (ODP) Team in 2001–2002 and was on the Utah Olympic Development (ODP) Team from 1998–2000. In 2002, Bogus was named Utah High School Player of the Year by Gatorade and NSCAA Adidas and was a USSSA honorable-mention All-American.
